Airborne droplets (aerosols) – sneezing, coughing, even talking;

Direct contact with infected nasal secretions – shaking hands, kissing, hugging;

Fomites (contaminated objects) - by touching a surface or object that has flu virus on it and then touching their own mouth or nose;
